It turns out that I can’t buy an iPad without buying a new, more up-to-date computer that would have an operating system that could interface with the state-of-the-art iPad. So now I’m looking at the little MacBook Air again, which is Apple’s answer to the NetBook and which I’ve actually been waiting for Apple to develop ever since I briefly played with a little NetBook several years ago. But if I get the little MacBook Air I won’t need the iPad because I really only wanted the iPad as a light weight, carry-around “computer.” So maybe I should have just gotten the little Air at the outset and avoided the whole iPad business? My continuing education….
